Junior work planner

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a junior work planner, you want to become the best in your field. From our location in Kaatsheuvel, you will work together with an experienced work planner on various projects. Within the machining industry, you will be responsible for processing orders to production and execution.

You will quickly pick up small orders, but eventually you will also carry out the more complex orders completely independently. Because you will have the opportunity to work with a very experienced work planner, you will learn quickly. After a while, you will independently produce work descriptions, parts lists and drawings. At Smart-M, you will work intensively with clients, our company manager and the production manager.

Work includes:

• Preparation of designs and detailed drawings for production and tensioning equipment
• Detailing product (parts) via symbols and details (materials, sizes, etc.).
• Work preparation (defining machining steps)
• Copying and archiving (revision) drawings
• Supporting quotations and order calculations
• CAD preparations for CAM
• Designing fixtures
• Supporting the measuring room

 WHAT DO YOU BRING?

• You have a completed MBO-4 education, preferably in a technical direction, in metal, mechanical and/or structural engineering
• Basic knowledge of AutoCad, Inventor or EdgeCam is a plus
• You are able to switch quickly between different tasks 
• Naturally, you are driven to continue learning and developing yourself, your colleagues will help you do this
• Experience within a machining manufacturing environment is a plus
• You have strong communication skills, a high regard for quality and a great sense of responsibility
• Good oral and written communication skills
