Working together for a bright future

Together with other companies, industry associations, government and civil society organisations, we signed the covenant 'Together towards responsible metal chains'. The aim of the covenant is to promote international corporate responsibility. We do this by reducing human rights and environmental abuses in the metal sector.

Smart Taking responsibility

Metals agreement

By actively participating in the metals agreement, we take responsibility for all aspects of our production chain. By cooperating with other organisations, we can jointly tackle abuses in our chain.

By working with Smart-M, you are assured that your organisation is working with an honest organisation. Want to know more about the metal covenant?

SMART Certified

In addition to IMVO, Smart-M is also engaged in obtaining ISO certifications. Want to know more about these certifications and why they are also of interest to your company?

Ad van der Leest

Business manager

"I joined at 17e started as a mechanic and now over 40 years later work as a company manager. I see tremendous drive and loyalty on the shop floor. It gives me goose bumps to see what everyone here achieves and does for our customers. I like it when a company knows how to empower its employees. That certainly happens here and I can enjoy that every day. We also give talent every opportunity to develop. Smart-M also consciously invests in socially responsible production processes and wants to take responsibility for all aspects of the production chain. For instance, we take a critical look at the origin of raw materials and our own production process in terms of the environment and waste. To this end, we recently signed the International CSR Covenant for the metal sector. Our profession must remain beautiful for people and the environment!"
